Marie Mwiza Ndutiye is a well rounded performer. Her professional career was built through multidisciplinary projects at the confluence of dance, film, fashion and music.
Marie trained in Jazz and Ballet with teachers of the Opera de Toulon.
In High School, she specialized in cinema and audiovisual arts before pursuing an intensive training in contemporary and modern dance at the International Dance Center of Cannes.
She was 17 when she started appearing in mainstream TV/ award shows as dancer. Some of her credits includes: America’s got talent, NRJ music awards, Victoires de la Musique and Star Academy she helped choreograph a few times.
She was introduced to the underground clubs and ballroom scene of New York where she started Vogueing in 2009 with the House of Ninja. Marie became the first European Voguer to walk a major ball in America. She went on to win grand prizes at the Latex Ball at Roseland ballroom in 2011, 2012, 2013 in the category New Way, opening doors and inspiring a new generation of worldwide dancers. She featured alongside many ballroom Icons in the first film of Jenn Nkiru, En Vogue and Stacey Lee's short documentary "Behind the ball". Known as Marie Ninja in the dance community, she was invited to teach, perform or judge in various international events and venues such as Juste Debout, Opera de Paris, Funkin’Stylez, Redbull, Just 4 Ladies and more.
Her skills and versatility has led her to perform over 800 shows in the resident Cirque du Soleil’s Las Vegas production Zumanity, designed by Thierry Mugler and choreographed by Yanis Marshall.
She was booked on several advertising campaigns and fashion shows as performer such as Isabel Marrant, Tag Heuer, LVMH, Valentino, Nike, Diesel, L’Oréal, Reebok or Absolut and assisted the choreographer Nicolas Huchard on different projects including Lanvin show 2021 and the Lancôme campaign "La vie est belle" 2022.
She worked in the music industry alongside FKA Twigs, Aya Nakamura, Katy Perry, Kiddy Smile, Njena Red Foxxx, Ryan Heffington for Icona Pop or Jenifer as movement director.
She’s currently creating her first project "Ishingiro", while performing in the new piece of the choreographer Bintou Dembélé: G.R.O.O.V.E .
